After more than 6 month’s developing, testing and improving, Sunplan Lighting is proud to announce that our full dimmable LED Filament Bulbs are now ready for mass production. This is a breakthrough in led filament technology which means you don’t have to stand up the ugly plastic part between the glass and the socket any more. Exciting yep !

What’s more it’s not only for those bulbs who are using E27 or B22 sockets, smaller bulbs like Candles and Mini Global bulbs using E14 socket could also dim now. This is really not easy for such a small driver space. And we have tested and improved a thousand times before what they are now.

I am pretty sure you would be more impressive with the smooth dimming effect with most traic dimmers in the market. So smooth without any flickering and noise that your eyes could catch, and the range is almost from 0 to 100%. So far the dimmers we have tested are mainly from the EU market, like Clipsal, Legrand, Schneider, ELKO etc.

The dimmable led filament bulbs are available in a wide selection from 3.5W 350lm to 8W 1000lm. Still the PF (power factor) value is far from the CE standards requires which is over 0.9.

What need to be noticed is that now the dimmable led filament bulbs could only work under voltage 220~240VAC. For those markets using lower voltage from 100~127V, the dimmable version is still been testing and improving. But we are confident that in the near future we will launch those bulbs as well to meet the market request. Let’s look forward to it.
