What are LED filament bulbs ?

Literelly speaking, LED Filament bulbs are using “LED filament” as its light source to replace the traditional Carbon or Tungsten filament lamps. However a LED Filament Bulb is much more energy saving and environment friendly with almost same lighting effect. For example, a 2W LED filament candle could give equal brightness as a 25W incandescent bulb. When it was first introduced to the market in middle 2010s, many people worry about the safety and reliability issues. But today it has no longer a problem with us. Sunplan Lighting have got certificates of EMC, LVD, ErP, RoHS, SAA, TUV-GS and C-tick ect.

What Bulb Shapes Could I have ?

At Sunplan Lighting, you could find a full LED Filament Bulb range from the regular shapes (GLS Bulbs, Mini Globa Bulbs and various Candle Shapes) to the Vintage Edison Bulb Shapes (Squirrel Cage Shape, Global, Tubular, Diamond) for a more decorative and traditional atmosphere. We also offer the nichi small bulbs (C22 E10) to the big PS and PAR Bulb Shapes. You could also have a different glass finishing from clear, milky, matt, gold and mirror top of some round shapes.

Are the LED filament Bulbs Dimmable ?

Of-course, Sunplan Lighting has a strong technology background in lighting sources. And our LED filament bulbs could well work with most traic dimmers in the market, dimmers that we already tested at our lab includes Clipsal, Legrand, Schneider, V-Pro, ELKO etc. You could write to info@sunplanlighting.com to receive the detailed dimmer list for your reference.

Today the LED filament bulbs are so pupular in the market that it seems the difference is only the photographer(LOL). However, the LED filament bulb is not as easy as it looks like. Besides the visual part (filament, driver and glass), those that could not be seen could also greatly effect the bulb reliability and lifespan, such as the glue, gas-filled, phosphor etc. Therefore, evaluating the technology ability and production scale of the manufacturer are very important before you buy.
